The world of innu-aimun song has lost the man who gave its birth. Philippe McKenzie, inspired by the folk style, was a pioneer of songs in native languages. He left his mark on his generation and those that followed. I would like to express my condolences to his family, friends and the Innu Nation of Uashat mak Mani-utenam. »![]()
